My name is Christina Kabalo. I am a German graphic designer with a particular interest in the visual and during my travels I have recorded a series of impressive and amusing stencilled graffiti.
My concept was to present not only the varying forms of the graffiti but also where they were discovered. From the macro level (the general environment) to the micro level (hidden or prominent in the locality). And this led to the basic principle of the presentation : two photos, background and close-up. One can also create ones own stencils with my book. Perforated pages to cut out are included along with spray-paints.
My intention is to bring the readers closer to this artistic medium and sharpen their perception. To inspire them to seek and discover as I did. There’s lots out there. Get addicted!

And I don’t think I have to mention how impressed I am with the book. Strong believer … in stencils, the stencil book but especially in Christina Kabalo. Hoping for more !
